Air India Resumes Non-Stop Flights From Mumbai To New York After 4 Years

Effective February 14, 2023, Air India brings back its nonstop Mumbai to New York flights that were suspended in early 2019. This piece of good news for international travellers was announced on February 13 by Air India officials to enhance maximum connectivity. The decision has been made after evaluating the tremendous demand for travel between BOM to JFK – all thanks to growing industry links and businesses between US and India.  

The non-stop flight from Mumbai to New York by Air India will be set off daily by the Boeing 777-200LR aircraft and will take non-stop India to USA flights frequency to 47 in a week. The CEO & MD of Air India – Mr Campbell Wilson assured that the airline’s commitment to bloom a major international hub in India’s commercial capital remains affirmed. With the launch of this route, travel between India to the USA and back is definitely going to take a hit with better connectivity. 

Presently, Air India is operating nonstop Mumbai to San Francisco and Newark flights, Delhi to New York, Washington DC, Chicago, Newark and Bengaluru to San Francisco flights. Notably, Boeing 777-200LR by Air India seats 238 passengers including 195 economy seats, 35 business and 8 first-class seats. Current prices can cost you around INR 1,15,000 to INR 1,48,000 for a one-way from BOM to JFK.
