Itinerary

Upon your arrival at the airport, you will meet our representative and then drive to Pokhara. You’ll check in at the hotel and start your day by exploring Pokhara. Pokhara is a tourist’s paradise full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, temples of Buddhists and Hindus along with mountains. You can observe views to the north across the hills and Phewa Tal (lake) to the white peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. It is the most beautiful Himalayan panorama in the world.

Insight – It will take 7 hours from Kathmandu to Pokhara.

Early in the morning drive to Sarangkot for a sunrise tour. Sarangkot is one of the best places in Nepal where you can see sunrise and panoramic mountain views. After the sunrise tour, you’ll transfer back to the hotel and have Breakfast then proceed to Pokhara city sightseeing places to visit like:

Bindabashini Temple: This revered temple in Pokhara is dedicated to goddess Bhagwati, a manifestation of Shakti. Devotees believe that Bindabashini fulfils their wishes.

Seti Gorge: The Seti Gandaki River is a natural wonder of Pokhara, with parts of it running underground. Flowing right through the city, the boisterous river runs completely underground at places. Amazingly, at certain points, the river appears hardly two meters wide. But its depth is quite beyond imagination over 20 meters! Provides a perfect view of the river’s dreadful rush and the deep gorge made by its powerful flow.

Devi’s Fall: Also known as Patale Chhango or Hell’s Fall, Devi’s Fall is a picturesque waterfall located about 2 kilometres southwest of Pokhara airport. Legend has it that a trekker (Devin, David) was washed away by the Pardi Khola and mysteriously disappeared down into an underground passage beneath the fall.

Gupteswar Cave: This sacred cave, situated at the southern end of the city in Chorepatan, holds a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Fewa Lake: Enjoy one hour of boating on Fewa Lake.

Barahi Temple: Located in the centre of Phewa Lake, the Barahi Temple is a two-story pagoda dedicated to the boar manifestation of Ajima, representing the female force Shakti. Devotees often carry male animals and fowl to the temple on Saturdays as offerings.

In the evening, you will drive from Pokhara to Chitwan (Sauraha) by private vehicle, which takes approximately four hours. In Sauraha, you can immerse yourself in the beauty of nature and experience the local way of life.

Enjoy a traditional Tharu culture dance during dinner and spend the night in your hotel

After an early morning breakfast, you will drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu in a private vehicle. Along the way, you can enjoy mesmerizing mountain views, landscapes, terraced rice fields, vegetable farms, and glimpses of daily life in the villages. The drive from Naubishe takes you to Thankot, the gateway to the capital city.

Upon reaching the hotel in Kathmandu, you’ll have the opportunity to witness the Pashupati Arati Durson, a mesmerizing religious ceremony.

Pashupatinath Temple: Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple stands as Nepal’s most sacred Hindu shrine and ranks among the subcontinent’s most significant Shiva sites. The unparalleled sanctity of this location emanates from the veneration of the Shiva Linga enshrined within its main temple. It encapsulates the very essence of Hinduism, where pilgrims, priests, devotees, temples, ashrams, images, inscriptions, and cremation ghats seamlessly coexist with the rituals of daily life, all along the banks of the sacred Bagmati River. While the temple’s origins remain enigmatic, an inscription dating back to 477 AD exists. However, it’s believed that the shrine may have graced this site for a millennium prior to that record.

After this beautiful day, return to your hotel and spend the night in your Kathmandu hotel.

After breakfast, you will have some free time until your departure. Our team will ensure your transfer to the international airport for your final journey. We hope you depart with cherished memories of your time in Nepal.
