Kedarnath Temple

Located in the Garhwal Himalayas, Kedarnath Temple is the eleventh jyotinlinga out of the twelve we have in total. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and enjoys a wide range of tourists from all over the world.

Badrinath Temple

Being one of the four major Hindu temples of Uttarakhand, the Badrinath Temple is dedicated to Vishnu. It’s an avatar of the Hindu god & is located in the town of Badrinath in the Chamoli district.

Omkareshwar Temple

Situated at a height of 1,300 metres, the Ukhimath Omkareshwar Temple is a Hindu temple situated near Kund Ukhimath Gopeshwar Mangal Road. It is also known as the winter seat of Kedarnath. 

Gangotri Temple

Gangotri Temple is one of the four major temples in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand. It is situated on the banks of the river Bhagirathi and is considered to be one of the holiest Hindu shrines in India.

Haridwar Temple

The city of Haridwar lies on the banks of the river Ganga in Uttarakhand. It is considered one of the seven holiest places for Hindus and Sikhs. Devotees in Haridwar take a dip in the river Ganga as per their belief of going to heaven.

Tungnath Temple

The Tungnath temple is one of the most important temples in Hinduism and is situated at a height of 3,680 meters. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiv and is also the highest of the five Kedar temples located in Rudraprayag.

Surkanda Devi Temple

Gaurikund Temple

The Gaurikund Temple is dedicated to Goddess Gauri (Parvati). It is here that Lord Shiva expressed his love for Goddess Parvati. From Gaurikund, it takes a strenuous trek of 14 kms to reach Kedarnath Temple.

Joshimath Temple

Lying on a hilltop of the Chamoli district in the state of Uttarakhand, Joshimath Temple is dedicated to Lord Narasimha, an avatar of Lord Vishnu. It is also the Winter seat of Lord Badri.

Bageshwar Temple

One of Hinduism’s most revered shrines, Bageshwar Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The name “Bageshwar” has the word “Bagh” which means tiger. There’s an entire story as to why it has been named Bageshwar.

Raghunathji Temple

Devprayag Temple is situated in the Garhwal Himalayan region of Uttarakhand. This holy place is just 73 km away from the Rishikesh-Badrinath highway and stands where the rivers Alaknanda and Bhagirathi meet.

Gopinath Temple

Known for its unique architecture, Gopinath Temple is located in the town of Gopeshwar in Uttarakhand, India. Here, the trident of Lord Shiva got fixed while he was directing it at Kamdeva (God of Love).

Patal Bhubaneshwar Temple

A limestone cave temple, Patal Bhubaneshwar Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is situated in the Bageshwar district of Uttarakhand and is known for its enchanting cave architecture and beauty.

Lakhamandal Shiv Temple

An ancient Hindu temple, Lakhamandal Shiv Temple is situated in the Jaunsar-Bawar region of Dehradun district. The picturesque mountains that surround the temple and the Yamuna river that flows near makes this site a unique spot.
