Bali To Fully Reopen Its Border For Indian Travellers

Indonesia is running an extensive vaccination program in hopes of fully reopening islands like Bali soon. Bali has the highest vaccination rate in Indonesia and according to health statistics, more than 88.43% of the population in Indonesia is fully vaccinated. Indonesia, in particular, like many countries, is eager to reopen, but the government is slowly opening it up to ensure the safety of its citizens.

Indonesia’s tourism minister, Sandiaga Uno, told reporters that the reopening of Bali’s airport to international flights would serve as a trial for foreign tourists to Bali, although he did not provide a timetable for a full return of tourism. He also discussed the health protocols that have been put in place to make tourists feel safe during their travels.

Also, following the relief of Indonesia travel restrictions for Indian travellers, Bali is welcoming travellers under certain circumstances such as limited flights, mandatory to have a covid report and certificate, and hotel quarantine is required.
