IndiGo announces 21 additional flights in winter schedule

In line with Indigo’s vision to build up regional connectivity, the airline has added 21 extra flights as part of its winter schedule for 2022-23. The operations were brought into existence on December 9, 2022, from Kolkata and Hyderabad to beach destinations like Goa, Port Blair and Kochi. This seasonal schedule is added to take care of the rising demand during the winter season for these destinations and to uplift accessibility in the region. 

Indigo’s Head of Global Sales, Vinay Malhotra told in the press conference that the airline industry had seen a huge surge of customers recently who wanted to travel to the beach destinations mentioned earlier. Considering the same, the airline wants to help the industry recover, meanwhile making it easier for travellers to get around. He also mentioned that Goa, Port Blair and Kochi are most popular from October to February and their new flight launch will help maintain a balance. He assured that Indigo will never fail to deliver a punctual, pleasant and hassle-free travelling experience.

Indigo Preparing For Additional Flights To Kolhapur from Bengaluru and Coimbatore

Effective January 13, 2023, Indigo Airlines announced additional flights between BLR to Kolhapur and Coimbatore to Kolhapur. These new routes will allow customers to make travel more accessible between Southern India and Central India. Indigo’s Head of Global Sales, Vinay Malhotra stated that the airline is experiencing high demand for flights between Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Maharashtra. The addition of these flights during the ongoing peak season will help travellers with better options and will also promote tourism among the mentioned states.
